Terry and his wife, Linda moved from Minnesota to Georgia in November 2008 to live near their children and grandchildren. It was at that time that Terry started a new career at Jacobs, Kirby & Coolidge, LLC in Brunswick.

Terry started in the investment business in 1972 after finishing his MBA at the University of MN. Terry was awarded the CFA designation in 1978. Of his 36 years experience, 8 were with an insurance company in Minneapolis as a fixed income analyst, 7 were with US Bank as a portfolio manager in the Private Asset Management area and 21 years were with American Express Financial Corp. in Minneapolis, first as a fixed income analyst and then as a portfolio manager responsible for managing fixed income proprietary assets, tax-exempt private client money and both taxable and tax exempt fixed income mutual funds.
