Russell Jacobs, Jr. is a veteran of the insurance industry. He opened an office for Equitable Life Assurance Society (now AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company) in April of 1964 and primarily sold life insurance. As his clients' needs grew, he expanded into various financial services as well as Employee Benefits. He retired from AXA Equitable in July 2006. He now plans to specialize in Long Term Care insurance, Individual Health and Medicare Supplements. Russell also will be assisting in other areas of business as well.

Professional Designations: Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Long Term care Advisor (CLTCA).

Personal: Member of the College Place United Methodist Church where he has been its organist for the last 35 years. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Coastal Symphony of Georgia.

"In the future, I plan to stay up-to-date with changes in the area of my specific responsibility. However, if a need develops in an area with which I am not comfortable, I always bring in one of my associates who is more familiar. I believe in a team approach to solve problems... no one can be everything to everyone!"
